The Topps 2017 National Sports Collectors Convention wrapper redemption is taking on a familiar theme. The 2017 Bowman Chrome National Convention set is exclusive to the show and available only to collectors opening select products on site.

2017 Bowman Chrome National Convention Checklist Details

The 50-card checklist is similar to 2017 Bowman and Bowman Chrome. However, there are some differences. First, everything is a Prism Refractor, giving off not only the familiar rainbow shine but a background pattern as well.

The National Convention logo is also on the card front, acting not only as a reminder of the show but an easy way to instantly recognize the cards as well.

The 2017 Bowman Chrome National Convention checklist also has a theme running through it, which adds a little more to the design. With the brand celebrating its 70th anniversary, each card front notes a year that’s joined by a stat or highlight from that player. In essence, the set acts as a timeline of sorts for the sport.

Among the parallels are Gold Refractors (/50), Red Refractors (/10) and one-of-one Black Refractors.

The checklist is a mix of current players, rookies, retired players and even a couple of prospects. In the main set, Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger are among the highlights.

2017 Bowman Chrome National Convention Autographs

Autographs are also randomly inserted.

For the autographs, many top stars are available. Also notable is Rafael Devers, who was called up by the Red Sox just for the National Convention began.

Retired Hall of Famers are also among the 2017 Bowman Chrome National Convention autographs. Ken Griffey Jr., Sandy Koufax and Frank Thomas are included. Because the cards use label autographs, a couple of late Hall of Famers, Ernie Banks and Gary Carter, are also on the checklist.

All of the autographs are numbered but to varying quantities. Devers and Triston McKenzie are the most plentiful but even they have only 35 base autographs.

Topps 2017 National Convention Wrapper Redemption Specifics
