Who Are the Guests at the 2017 Panini VIP Party?
The Panini VIP party at the 2017 National Sports Collectors Convention is starting to take shape. Several guests have been announced for the exclusive event. Hailing from several sports, these guests will hang out with guests and are often available for photos and other once-in-a-lifetime memories.
Lonzo Ball, the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, is one of the headliners. Ball was taken by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kris Dunn, the recently acquired point guard of the Chicago Bulls who was a key part of the trade that saw Jimmy Butler go to Minnesota, was among the initial names announced. Dunn is coming off of his rookie season.
On the football side, there are a couple of Hall of Famers, Deion Sanders and LaDainian Tomlinson.
Panini also has a pair of retired NBA stars slated to appear, Glen Rice and Latrell Sprewell. They have seven All-Star appearances between them. Rice was also a member of the NBA Championship Lakers team of 2000. In college, Rice led the Michigan Wolverines to the 1989 NCAA title.
On the baseball side, Pete Rose, the game’s all-time hit king, will be in attendance at the 2017 Panini VIP party. He’s joined by Dave and Danny Mantle, Mickey Mantle’s sons. The family recently signed an exclusive trading card deal with Panini.
From the world of boxing, Thomas “Hitman” Hearns will also be there. He’s an eight-time champion and the first boxer to win belts in five different weight classes.
Besides getting a chance to mingle with the guests, Panini VIP attendees also receive signed photos from each of them.
