2023 Baseball Cards: What’s In Store
The only licensed Major League Baseball cards are from Topps, who was purchased by Fanatics in 2022. This means that they’re the only company who can use MLB logos and uniforms. Throughout the year, the will offer a variety of products for both retail and hobby. Collectors can also find several sets and limited edition releases on the Topps website.
Other companies, such as Leaf and Onyx, will bring more baseball cards to market. These are often centered around draft picks and prospects.
Fanatics has changed how they announce products. For years, Topps would announced their hobby products about six months in advance. Whether temporary or permanent, they’re now holding virtually all details until just a few weeks before release. This means a lot more unknowns far out, such as which products are coming out and when, but it should also mean fewer changes once info is out.

You have listed…2023 big league and then 2022 topps inception. Shouldn’t that be 2022 big league and 2023 inception? Big league released last year was the 2021 set with 2020 stats. Inception had a 2022 set released.
What is shown here is correct. Topps’ direct list of release dates says 2023 for Big League. They could have made a mistake or it could be a reset.
Topps Inception is already here as a 2023 release. There’s also 2022 Bowman Inception, which isn’t out yet.

Topps Gold Label is listed to be released on March 22 in another place in this website but not here with the other baseball cards. Is it just overlooked or knowing how cards are put out are they being released then?

I have received sales offers for 2023 topps heritage with a release date of May 31.2023 and Topps baseball series 2 with a release date of June 7.2023. no other details were provided.
Even Ryan is frustrated by fanatics changes, sounds like speaker of the house trying to respond. Same answer to multiple questions means that the man “in the loop” is either withholding or not knowing. I believe not knowing, which isn’t good
It’s the same answer over and over because it’s cut and pasted from the bolded pre-emptive answer that’s at the start of the dates. People have been asking “When is Product X coming out?” longer than Fanatics has been around.

Love topps heritage. Greatest set. Such a classic. Hence the name. 440 or 725 card set each year since 2001. Most consistent next to the flagship but in my opinion heritage is the true flagship based on card stock.
