2022-23 Hockey Cards Release Dates, Checklist and Set Information
The 2022-23 hockey cards lineup features a lot of the same products as the last few years. Upper Deck continues to hold the NHL exclusive, making them the only company that can produce licensed hockey cards with league logos and trademarks. They hold similar exclusives with the AHL, CHL and Team Canada as well.
Others are around in different ways. Topps has a limited license for stickers. They also produce digital NHL cards in their SKATE app. Leaf doesn’t hold licenses but they have another slate of products that often highlight autographs and memorabilia from retired stars.
Upper Deck continues to play catch-up with their release schedule that began with the supply chain issues during the pandemic. As a result, many products are noticeably later that usual. Delays have also been frequent.

For upcoming sets, yes, there aren’t many. When UD gives a definitive date for upcoming releases, they’re added. We could put random dates for things, but that’d be making them up. And also be pretty unreliable.
Will there be a 22-23 Trilogy? I greatly enjoyed the latest crop, chasing Slafkovsky etc
