2023 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day Checklist and Details
Who doesn’t love free sports cards? 2023 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day brings back the promotion for a 14th year on April 15, 2023. While hobby shops across Canada, the United States and other parts of the world, the set itself has been streamlined.
Instead of separate checklists for Canadian and American collectors, Upper Deck is going with the same set for all.
2023 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day Checklist Overview
The 2023 Upper Deck NHCD base set has a total of 31 cards. It includes three distinct subsets, each consisting of 10 players: Prominent Rookies, Hockey Superstars and Legends on Ice. A checklist rounds things out.
A Matty Beniers Rookie Moments card isn’t in packs. Rather, it’s available to collectors who make a qualifying purchase ($10 on Upper Deck products) at a participating shop.
The 2023 Upper Deck NHCD checklist has a couple of insert sets as well, Mascots and Victory Black Rookies. Both consist of 10 cards. According to Upper Deck, scarce autographs can also be uncovered.
Since the beginning, National Hockey Card Day has been a simple promotion for collectors to participate in. Simply head to a shop that’s taking part and get a free pack. Many card stores piggyback things with other promotions and make it an even bigger event.
