Jose Fernandez became a hot commodity real quick in 2013. I bet the Yankees’ front office is scrambling to see how many gazillion dollars they can afford to spend on him. Which is unfortunate because I like to see teams like Miami hold on to their players and develop over time. If the Marlins can throw some bats in their lineup, or even get some production out of their other youth like Hechavarria and Ozuna, they have a shot next year in a division that was lackluster in 2013.
