2024 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day goes down on Saturday, April 13. That means free packs and an exclusive set to collect for those visiting participating card shops. At many, it also means special events held in conjunction with the annual hobby holiday.

As has been the case for many years, the base set is divided up into multiple sections, spotlighting different generations of NHL talent. First-year standouts are in Prominent Rookies while veterans are in Hockey Superstars. Delving into the past is Legends on Ice.

I noticed the victory black rookies are numbered 9-18. Are the first 8 inserted in a different set, or is this a continuation of last year?
