2018 Upper Deck Daredevil Seasons 1 and 2 Trading Cards Checklist Heads to Hell’s Kitchen
2018 Upper Deck Daredevil Seasons 1 and 2 trading cards take the Marvel Cinematic Universe to new corners. This is not only the first release for any of the Marvel Netflix shows but the first full release of any show from the streaming service (sorry, no Orange Is the New Black cards yet).
And if autographs are your thing, 2018 Upper Deck Daredevil Seasons 1 and 2 has many of the key cast on the checklist.
2018 Upper Deck Daredevil Base Set
The base set uses 100 cards to weave the storylines of the first 26 episodes. First, as the groundwork of Matt Murdock’s story is laid and his initial encounters with Kingpin. Then, in season two, things shift to the introduction of Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher, and Elektra.
In between are a handful of other important characters like Foggy Nelson, Karen Page and Ben Urich.
All base cards come with three levels of parallels: Daredevil Red Foil (/299), The Punisher White Foil (/99) and Elektra Red Foil (/49).
Autographs
On the signature side, confirmed signers in 2018 Upper Deck Daredevil Seasons 1 and 2 trading cards have all three of the show’s lead protagonists. These include Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page).
While Cox and Henson have their first autograph cards here, Woll is no stranger to the hobby. She has autographs in multiple True Blood sets from Rittenhouse Archives.
Elodie Yung (Elektra), Vondie Curtis-Hall (Ben Urich) and Bob Gunton (Owl) are also signing for the set. Joe Bernthal, who came on in the second season as Frank Castle (The Punisher) is also on the Daredevil autograph checklist.
Autographs have both single- and dual-signer versions.
Other Inserts
Although Daredevil is watched digitally, the set has a series of manufactured Film Cels. These are design to mimic the movie experience back in the day when films came on reels. Some of these are short prints. Also included are Red Tint parallels and autographed versions.
