Upper Deck’s next SP Legendary Cuts will include heavy dose of T206 legends

When the latest edition of SP Legendary Cuts arrives from Upper Deck later this year, the product will be packing what is perhaps the biggest checklist of cut autographs of players who appeared in the landmark T206 card set.
This according to Beckett alum, baseball connoisseur and Upper Deck brand manager Grant Sandground.
“This product features 28 players that were featured in the famous T206 set as follows,” Sandground wrote. “It’s probably the largest accumulation of T206 signers ever compiled.”
It’s a crop that includes Frank “Home Run” Baker of Philadelphia Athletics fame, Chick Gandil of Chicago Black Sox shame and a few other guys you might have heard of, including Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson and Cy Young.

its too bad that Chick isnt still alive….he & Richard have a lot in common
Unfortunately without the licensing rights to use photos of the players, they’ll be rather bland and uninteresting. Also, the cuts are never as clean and fresh in the packs as they are on the sell sheet.
Will they actually list the cut auto’s that all but the fortunate few will get…You know the ones that will book for $15-$20 after you shelled out $200 for a pack.
