Goldin Auctions Hosting Auction to Support Red Cross and Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts
Goldin Auctions is holding a special auction to raise funds for Red Cross Hurricane Harvey efforts.
Until September 8, they’re accepting memorabilia and collectible consignments for their Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund Auction. All proceeds from bids and buyer’s premiums will be given to the American Red Cross.
“We encourage the sports memorabilia community to come together to help the American Red Cross help the people of Texas during this difficult time,” said Ken Goldin, Goldin Auctions founder. He is personally donating $10,000 worth of items from his own collection to the sale.
“Whether you can donate an item or place a bid, you can be assured that the full purchase price will help people in need,” Goldin said.
How to Donate
Goldin Auctions is looking for people to donate a variety of collectibles valued at $200 or more. These include cards, sports memorabilia, autographs, coins and currency, game-used items, political memorabilia, and comics.
Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund Auction items will be listed as part of their October Legend Auction. The sale runs from early October and closes November 4.
Consignments need to be made by September 8 and received by September 12. Arrangements can be made through the Goldin Auctions website.
