First look: Panini’s 2012 Crown Royale Football
By Susan Lulgjuraj | Beckett Football Editor
What works in one product could work in another, and Panini America is taking that chance.
Panini’s Choice autographed die-cuts debut in football when 2012 Crown Royale releases in December.
The Panini’s Choice autographed inserts were originally found in 2012 Preferred Basketball. The cards will have Gold, Blue, Purple and Green parallels.
Panini is also playing off last year’s success as Crown Royale marks the return of Rookie Silhouettes Signatures (on-cards autographs, prime memorabilia, numbered to 349 or less).
But that’s not all.
Panini is adding Legendary Silhouettes Signatures, which are numbered to 99 or less.
Panini is adding new die-cuts such as Crowning Glory Materials and Rookie Royalty Materials.
After all that, let’s not forget the basics. Crown Royale will have a 150-card base with 100 rookies.
One four-pack box will yield one Rookie Silhouettes Signature, one Rookie Autograph, two additional hits, two Rookie Cards, four parallels and four inserts.
