First Look: 2012 TRISTAR TNA TENacious

By Chris Olds | Beckett Sports Card Monthly Editor

TRISTAR‘s newest TNA IMPACT Wrestling card set will make its debut on Aug. 1 at the National Sports Collectors Convention, and that’s also where the company will have some stars from the organization on hand to meet fans and sign autographs.

While those details are still to come, the specifics on TENacious are here — and it’s a set that will celebrate a decade of wrestling for the company.

Set to arrive for the rest of the non-show-going hobby on Aug. 15, this one will include three autograph cards and either a memorabilia card or celebrity cut autograph in every 20-pack hobby box.

The product will be limited to just 75 24-box cases — the lowest print-run of any TNA product — and that’s just 1,800 total hobby boxes.

There will be plenty of highlights from the decade in the business for the company as well as notable newcomers to the show such as Brooke Hogan. Each box also will include one short-print numbered to 100 or less, two parallels numbered to 30 or less, while there will be autograph cards with “TNA 10” inscriptions as well as multi-signed cards to chase. All autographs and memorabilia cards will bee numbered to 100 or less.

Among the celeb cards are notables who have appeared at TNA events in the past. That’s a list that includes Chris Rock, Toby Keith, Brian Urlacher, Dennis Rodman and Tito Ortiz to name a few. These cards will be limited to five or fewer copies.

Other inclusions in this one will be variation base cards, a subset of Jeff Hardy art cards and a Sting Hall of Fame set to name a few.
