2023 Topps Star Wars Details
2023 Topps Star Wars trading cards don’t come with a hyper-defined theme or catchy name. That’s by design. It’s intended to be more of a flagship-style release, delivering an affordable price tag and a mix of cards and styles. Think Topps Baseball but for a certain galaxy far, far away.
2023 Topps Star Wars Checklist Overview
Consisting of 100 cards, the base set dives into the characters from different corners of the Star Wars Universe.
Parallels come in several levels:
- Rainbow Foil – 1:2 packs
- Gold Foilboard – 1:3 blaster packs
- Green Foilboard – /499
- Orange Foilboard – /299
- Red Foilboard – /199
- Purple – /99
- Black – /75
- Blue – /50
- Green – /25
- Red – /10
- Hyperspace – 1/1
- Printing Plates – 1/1
Autographs and Other Inserts
Similar to the main set, autographs cover a lot of ground and come with signatures from actors from both movies and television shows.
Purple (/99), Black (/75), Blue (/50), Green (/25), Red (/5), Printing Plates (1/1) and Hyperspace (1/1) are among the versions available.
It’s worth noting that autographs do not appear to be a guaranteed box hit like most other Topps Star Wars trading cards.
A handful of other inserts are also on the checklist.
Epic Clashes spotlights big battles and rivals while Into the Galaxy heads to some of the many planets featured on the screen.
Although best known for its films and TV programs, there have been a lot of Star Wars comic books over the decades. Comic Covers highlights some of them.
Lightsaber Stylings stand out for their die-cut shape, intended to look like they were sliced by one of the glowing weapons.
All four of these sets come with additional Blue (/50), Green (/25), Red (/10) and Hyperspace (1/1) parallels.
2023 Topps Star Wars has a couple of tougher chase sets as well. AKA puts characters’ nicknames on display.
Hologram Cards put a new spin on existing art.
Super Boxes, which come with 24 standard packs, also have one of 40 different Widevision inserts. These oversized cards take key scenes from recent Disney+ Star Wars shows.
