2017 Topps Series 2 Baseball Variation Short Prints Visual Cheat Sheet
Need some help identifying the 2017 Topps Series 2 variation short prints? Here you go.
A popular theme looks like it has returned — retired legends. Not only does this add some big names to the checklist, but it mixes things up. As an added bonus, these should be pretty easy to spot.
If only it were that straightforward, though. Legends don’t make up all the 2017 Topps Series 2 variations. Current players also have SSP cards with the traditional photo swap way of doing things. In fact, current players make up the majority of the Series 2 checklist.
2017 Topps Series 2 Variation Codes
2017 Topps Series 2 variations can be confirmed using the card back. As it is with many sets, but not the intention from Topps, the fine print holds a key to unlocking and double-checking whether a card is a 2017 Topps Series 2 SSP. Go to the end of the code and find the number. At the end:
• Regular Base Cards – 3535
• Variations – 3587
