2017 Topps On-Demand is another extension of the card maker’s online exclusives. Similar to their Throwback Thursday line, it delves into different themes and designs. But unlike Throwback Thursday and others like it, the checklists are more expansive. They’re still on the small side, but most offer a little more like parallels and inserts.

The latest? The 100th episode of The Walking Dead.

2017 Topps On-Demand The Walking Dead 100th Episode

Coinciding with The Walking Dead airing its 100th episode, which also happened to kick off its eighth season, this 25-card collection highlights the show’s characters through the years.

Each set is also guaranteed to come with an autograph and three numbered parallels.

2017 Topps On-Demand Star Wars – May the Fourth

The first entry into 2017 Topps On-Demand is Star Wars – May the 4th. Each set comes with 20 cards and one autograph.

The Star Wars – May the 4th set comes with the starfield design made famous by the original 1977 set. However, instead of blue borders, base versions are black. The checklist highlights 20 key characters. Randomly inserted in sets are Silver (/10) and Gold (1/1) parallels.

2017 Topps On Demand Star Wars May the 4th Gold

Each set also has one autograph. A total of 17 signers are available including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill. Although print runs haven’t been announced, these are likely to be tough compared to many of the other signers. Like base cards, autographs have Silver (/10) and Gold (1/1) parallels. Signatures for these cards come on stickers.

2017 Topps On-Demand 600 Home Run Club

The second 2017 Topps On-Demand release shifted to baseball. Specifically, the 600 Home Run Club. The timing follows Albert Pujols reaching the milestone a short time before.

The base set has 25 cards.

Every third set comes with an autograph. It’s a strong list of signers, as well. Pujols, Mike Trout, Barry Bonds and Bryce Harper headline the list. But even the “lesser names” are strong, like Anthony Rizzo and Manny Machado. Autograph parallels come in Red (/10), Silver (/5) and Black (1/1).

Topps sold out of all 1,632 600 Home Run Club sets within a few hours.

2017 Topps On-Demand MLB All-Star Game – Homage to ’87

The third set is a mash-up of sorts, mixing players from 1987 and 2017. The design follows a similar path, bringing in the woodgrain of 1987 Topps Baseball but apply a new design.

The base set has 30 cards with parallels available in Walnut (/25), Cherry (/10), Black (/5) and Flame Wood (1/1).

Autographs are included 1:2 sets. Signers include Mike Trout, Mark McGwire, Carlos Correa, Max Scherzer, Don Mattingly and 2017 Cooperstown inductee, Tim Raines. Besides the base versions, autographs have Cherry (/10), Black (/5) and Flame Wood (1/1) parallels.

The Homage to ’87 set also introduces traditional insert cards to the 2017 Topps On-Demand line. These 12 Then & Now cards pair up a 1987 All-Star with a current player.

In addition to the 30 base cards, each set promises either a base parallel or a Then & Now insert.

2017 Topps On-Demand 3,000 Hit Club

2017 Topps On-Demand Set 4 came out not long after Adrian Beltre joined the elusive 3,000 Hit Club. Similar to the earlier 600 Home Run Club set, the checklist features a mix of players who reached the milestone as well as some who may if they keep up the pace of their careers. A handful of cards even highlight the moment of the 3,000th hit.

Autographs are 1:3 sets.

Both the base cards and autographs have parallels as well.

2017 Topps On-Demand WWE SummerSlam

The fifth 2017 Topps On-Demand came out in the lead up to one of WWE’s biggest events of the year. Each set starts with 30 base cards, highlighting members of the RAW and SmackDown Live! rosters. Randomly inserted parallels come in Gold (/10), Black (/5) and Red).

Each set also comes with a pair of autographs. The checklist has 18 different signers including AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Parallels match the base set.

2017 Topps On-Demand Mayweather vs. McGregor: The Road to August 26

2017 Topps Mayweather vs. McGregor: The Road to August 26 is a 20-card set. Releasing before the actual fight, the checklist highlights the build up and hype. That means cards of the two training, press conferences and other antics.

Parallels are randomly inserted. Tiers include Blue (/25), Red (/10), Silver (/5) and Gold (1/1).

This is the first 2017 Topps On-Demand set not to include autographs. But while there are none here, Topps has produced autographs in the past of both fighters. McGregor has been in multiple Topps UFC releases. Floyd Mayweather autographs were recently included in 2017 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball.

Done in conjunction with UFC, Topps will also made Topps Now cards for the fight. Mayweather autographs were among those offered through the company’s other print-on-demand initiative.

2017 Topps On-Demand Bojack Horseman: Horsin’ Around

2017 Topps On-Demand Bojack Horseman: Horsin’ Around marks the trading card debut for the animated Netflix series.

The 20-card set goes a little meta, done in a way that it’s intended to be a “lost” test issue for Horsin’ Around, the Full House-esque ’90s sitcom that Bojack Horseman used to star in (within the show’s world, of course).

Available from September 18 to October 1, sets are printed based on the number that are ordered.

Not only are these the first Bojack Horseman trading cards, but they’re the first for a Netflix original.

It doesn’t have any inserts or parallels to go with it, just the 20-card base set.

2017 Topps On-Demand GPK Classic

GPK Classic is the first Topps On-Demand offering featuring the Garbage Pail Kids.

The main set has 40 cards, which are broken down into 20 different A/B name variations.

Each set, which cost $99.99, is guaranteed to come with a sketch cards. More than 30 different artists contributed to the mini set.

2017 Topps On-Demand Postseason Heroes and Current Stars

With the MLB playoffs underway, 2017 Topps On-Demand Postseason Heroes and Current Stars highlights memorable moments from the past. The checklist also features top players from the team vying for the 2017 World Series.

The base set has 25 cards, which are divided into a pair of subsets: 2017 Postseason and Postseason Legends. Parallels come in Red (/25), Black (/10), Silver (/5) and Gold (/5).

2017 Topps On-Demand Postseason Heroes Set

Autographs are inserted 1:3 sets. Derek Jeter, Kris Bryant, Albert Pujols and Sandy Koufax are among the highlights.

Also randomly included are Postseason Impact inserts. These pair a current star with a comparable player from the past.

2017 Topps Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Preview

The characters of the animated series get the spotlight in this 25-card set. A pair of parallels are include along with one autograph. Signers include many of the lead voice actors including Freddie Prinze Jr. (Kannan). Sarah Michelle Gellar (The Seventh Sister) is also on the checklist. Notable actors reprising their roles on the show with singed cards include Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian) and Forest Whitaker (Saw Gerrera).

2017 Topps On-Demand sets are available exclusively on their website, usually for one week or while supplies last.
