$15,000 is a lot of money. Whether you’re taking a vacation, paying down some bills or investing, it’s not the kind of cash most of us take lightly. But then again, it’s safe to say that “most of us” aren’t the target of 2016 Upper Deck All-Time Greats Master Collection.

Out of the gate, each box set tops the $15,000 mark. For that, collectors get a mix of autographs, autographed memorabilia, a manufactured patch puzzle and more. And let’s not forget that large wood box. Each set also has a redemption for a piece of memorabilia. Possibilities range from signed memorabilia to game-used gear to a nonoperational motorbike signed by Michael Jordan.

So what does a 2016 Upper Deck All-Time Greats Master Collection box break look like?

With the product starting to surface, here’s a break from Canadian retailer and group breakers CloutsnChara.

And the mystery redemption:

Update (January, 27): Upper Deck has since posted their own video.

Wow!!! Now I’m even less impressed after seeing that box break. Who wants 30 puzzle pieces of upper decks logo? Not me and not for $15000. If I paid that much for that box I would ask for a $14800 refund.

That’s embarrassing. Unlicensed crap is unlicensed crap, not mater the price level. This is just sad. Patches of a UD product logo? UGH.

I’m definitely not seeing $15,000 in value from that box. I would not want to keep those manufactured patch junk cards as part of my collection, even if they were free. A cut up brand logo is quite possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in a trading card. The big-name autos are nice, but you could put together a much nicer-looking collection of autos from those athletes for a lot less. Has high-end finally gone too high?

Waiting for the Topps or Panini’s $15000.99 chrome masterpiece box. Just can’t get past the price of products coming out. Nice design but COME ON MAN!!!! But I guess if you’re one of those collectors that already has a couple of Mantle rookie in the safe, than what’s another $150000 for a box of cards. Wonder what story that guy has to tell his wife to hide that purchase from her. Probably the same one that Manning is telling the NFL about why he’s getting packages of HGH sent to his house.

    A very bitter Pats fan.

I miss my five cards for a nickel… and a stale piece of large gum, pack of cards…. this break is so silly……..

This is the most confusing collection. All the UD patches are worthless. Who would want those??? The other autos are ok but $15k and i get a tony hawk auto? I would love to see how well this sells.

I can envision the hobby eventually shrinking to the point where half the hobby’s total revenue will be generated from 100 rich collectors.
