While it was originally on the air, Arrested Development won over critics but failed to find a massive audience. DVD and Netflix have been kind to the show in the ensuing years, even leading to a streaming revival season. 2016 Cryptozoic Arrested Development bring a collectible spin to the classic comedy.

The set covers all four seasons with a mix of base, insert and premium cards including at least an autograph in every box.

Base Set

The 72-card base set delves into the show in its entirety. It covers all four seasons of the show, including the one that premiered on Netflix in May, 2013. Base cards use images from the episodes to highlight key moments and Bluth highlights.

Parallels come in a couple of forms. Million F*&%ing Diamonds is the fancy name for foil cards. Printing Plates are also randomly inserted.

Autographs and Memorabilia Cards

Autographs are inserted at a rate of one per box in 2016 Cryptozoic Arrested Development, at minimum. They drop 1:16 packs so every third box should have a second signed card. No names of signers have been announced yet, however a checklist featuring a mix of lead stars and guests can be expected.

Wardrobe cards are the equivalent of a jersey card. These have a piece of a costume from the show embedded in them. Prop cards can also be found.

Cryptozoic is also bringing over their Totally Fabricated line of inserts to the product. These have the look and feel of costume and prop cards only with items they’re up front about not being used in the show. Rather they’re a nod to what you’d expect. Past Totally Fabricated inserts have been used in DC Comic releases and for the animated Archer set.

Inserts

Basic inserts look at more than the episodes themselves. Character Bios (1:4 packs) give some background on the dysfunctional Bluth family and others in the show. Additional inserts include Quotes and Symbols.

It may not be a series that has animated or fantasy characters, but 2016 Cryptozoic Arrested Development does have sketch cards. They’re not easy to find.

A custom binder is also available that comes with an exclusive card that’s not available in packs.
