2015 Panini Arizona State University Blaster

By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor

The Sun Devils have produced some big stars in several sports. 2015 Panini Arizona State University trading cards cover them as well as some of the important lesser stars of the school’s athletic program, at least when the transition came to professional sports.

Besides base cards that spotlights the Sun Devils history, boxes also come with promised autographs or memorabilia cards. Retail boxes, which come with 24 packs, have two total while smaller blaster boxes have one.

The 2015 Panini Arizona State University base set has just 50 cards. Baseball, football and basketball are all represented. Leading the checklist is Cooperstown inductee, Reggie Jackson. Others include James Harden, Bob Horner, Jason Kipnis, Byron Scott and Marion Grice. In addition to basic player cards, there are some that are focused on the school and its traditions. Parallels come in Silver (/99), Gold (/25) and Black (/10).

Honors inserts commemorate the university’s award winners like Terrell Suggs taking home the Bronko Nagurski Trophy for being college football’s top defensive player in 2002.

Signatures is the portion of the release that has autographs. Like base cards, these have three levels of parallels numbered to 99 or less. Select players also have Memorabilia cards.
