2015 Leaf Trinity Baseball Kevin Costner Autographs

By Ryan Cracknell | Hobby Editor

Crash Davis. Ray Kinsella. Billy Chapel. When it comes to baseball movies, few actors, if any, have had more memorable roles than Kevin Costner. And while he has appeared on a couple autograph cards in the past, they’ve all been cut signatures. That changes with 2015 Leaf Trinity Baseball, which now has the first non-cut cards with certified Kevin Costner autographs.

Leaf previewed a couple of different cards on Twitter. They come under the banner Artistic Moments and have illustrations of Costner from his famous roles in Bull Durham and Field of Dreams.

The signatures are done on-card and not with stickers.

Costner hasn’t limited his roles to just baseball movies. As far as sports films go, he’s also appeared in Tin Cup, Draft Day and McFarland, USA and more. In the early 1990s he was, arguably, the biggest star in Hollywood. Costner won two Oscars for Dances with Wolves. His resumé also includes The Untouchables, JFK and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

2015 Leaf Trinity Baseball is scheduled to release in December. Each box has six autographs.

I like what Leaf is doing with baseball…now if they could only bring that creativity to football!
