First look: 2015 Topps MLS soccer
By Chris Olds | Beckett Sports Card Monthly Editor
Topps‘ next season of Major League Soccer kicks off on March 25 when 2015 Topps MLS arrives in stores.
It’s the third year of Topps’ MLS deal and the latest version will include two autographs and two Relics in every hobby box along with a selection of cards from the 200-card base set and a smattering of insert cards, too.
Oh, and every hobby box will include a fifth hit — an autographed Relic — too.
The auto Relics will be found with standard versions as well as Gold (/25), Black (/10) and 1/1 Red and 1/1 printing plate versions. The Relics — aka Kits of the Game — will have the same parallels in the same quantity.
There will be four types of autographs to be found here with standard autos paralleling the base cards in the product. Those will have Gold (/25), Black (/10) and 1/1 Red versions. A selection of MLS Personalities — celebs and others involved with the league — will be found among the autos, while Admired Alumni autos will feature past players on a design and set to be found in all of Topps’ MLS products for the year. Lastly, there will be Presence of the Pitch autos, which will have 1/1 versions to chase.
All 21 MLS teams will be represented in the base set with 200 cards all having five types of parallels — 1/1 printing plates and Reds along with Purple, Gold (/25) and Black (/10). The set also will showcase stadiums, 24 players under age 24 as well as the MLS All-Stars.
Among the insert sets will be Presence of the Pitch, MLS Minis, short-printed All-Star photo variations and Gameday Heritage cards that showcase traditions for the teams.
A preliminary checklist was not released.

Thank you!
the design really limits the type of photos they can use. Every photo is of the player standing straight up. Boring.
You are right @Jeff. How about a nice diving save, or sliding tackle here and there.
The second LA team is out so there are only 20 teams. Please tell me with 6 months heads up they did not put any Chivas players in the sets!
I believe base cards have a horizontal version for those dynamic sliding & tackling players
