Topps Valor Football themes involve around strength and honor – words used to describe heroes.

Topps is using those themes in 2014 Topps Valor Football. Each box will have one autographed relic card, one autograph, one jumbo relic and one patch card.

The Valor Autographs will include about 50 players with five players playing off names with Speed (numbered to 99), Strength (numbered to 75), Courage (numbered to 50), Discipline (numbered to 25) and Heart (1-of-1).

Alliance Autographs will feature teammates on one card with Dual, Triple and Quad Alliances.

The Shield of Honor Autograph Patch cards will showcase retired, veteran and rookie stars with five parallel levels.

The relic cards in 2014 Topps Valor Football will feature jumbo relics and patch cards with the five levels of parallels.

The base set will contain 200 cards with one Speed parallel in every pack. Collectors can also find Strength, Courage, Discipline, Glory, Valor and Heart parallels.

It seems Topps has changed the configuration on Valor with 20 packs per box and a much larger base set.

Valor is scheduled to come out Oct. 1.
