As we march toward the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks with a new NFL season here this evening with the Packers-Saints game, one new piece of one-of-a-kind memorabilia up for grabs each and every week has a bit more appeal now than it might in different days.

It’s an American flag flown over the south end of Lambeau Field at every Green Bay Packers home game this season.

Up for grabs every week on PackersProShop.com until they are gone will be a 5-by-8 foot flag with a first-come, first-served pricetag of $500. Presently, only the Nov. 20 and Dec. 11 games’ flags are available, with each also coming with a case for their display.

Ten percent of each purchase is donated to the Disabled American Veterans Department of Wisconsin, too.
