2022 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Krashers puts the GPK gang at the wheel once again with more kustom cars. This time, the checklist looks to some hit movies and TV shows for inspiration as well.
2022 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Krashers Series 3 Checklist Overview
The base set has 20 cards. Each pairs a classic Garbage Pail Kids character with a themed hot rod that goes with their personality. Joe Simko, who devised the original Krasher concept, provides the artwork once again.
Base cards have a couple of parallels, Gold Foil (/50) and Rainbow Foil (/25). Every pack has either one of these or an original sketch card.
Ten cards also have License Plate Backs. These are three per pack.
Pop Krashers are new for Series 3. These take the Krashers concept and apply them to popular shows and movies like Cobra Kai, Jurassic Park and Back to the Future. Of course, characters get the GPK treatment as well.
Like Series 1 and 2, this is another limited online exclusive. Packs run $40 each on the Topps website. Each has 26 total cards: a full 20-card base set, a header card, three License Plate Backs, a Pop Krashers insert, and either a sketch card or numbered foil parallel.
They’re available for one week beginning on September 15 or while supplies last. The previous two sets sold out much sooner.
