2021 Topps Now Overtime Elite Debut Basketball Checklist, Print Runs and Details
Topps is officially back in basketball cards at the league level. It’s not the NBA, though. 2021 Topps Now Overtime Elite Debut Basketball probably won’t bring any household names. But that’s by design.
This is a prospecting set that’s looking to the future. Overtime Elite players aren’t necessarily following the traditional college path to the NBA. Others come from different parts of the world. No matter the background, it’s going to be some time before any of the players take their game to the NBA.
2021 Topps Now Overtime Elite Debut Basketball kicks off with a series of Debut cards. Four are available each week on Topps’ website for just one week. After that, cards are printed and shipped. Print runs are also announced afterwards.
Parallels numbered to 49, 25, 10, 5 and 1 are randomly inserted in orders. According to Topps, these replace the card that is ordered. Unlike some other releases, like Project70, they are not bonus cards.
