2021 Pro Set Santa Claus Set Has Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos Visit the North Pole
2021 Pro Set Santa Claus revisits one of the most iconic cards from the company’s original run and gives it a modern pop culture twist.
Consisting of ten cards, at first glance, all of the cards look a lot like the 1989 original with Santa looking through his collection. Look a little closer and you’ll notice he’s not alone. Each of the ten cards has someone looking through the workshop window. Leading the way are several billionaire businessmen and tech pioneers like Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. Fresh off being named Time‘s Person of the Year, Elon Musk is in the set, too.
Rounding out the checklist are Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Dr. Anthony Fauci and Leaf owner Brian Gray.
Needless to say, the imaginary holiday meal shared by all made for some interesting conversations.
The background appearances are another nod to the original 1989 card, which has two “elves” peeking in.
The 2021 Pro Set Santa Claus set was exclusive to Leaf’s website. All 1,000 sets sold out very quickly.
