2018 Panini Elite Draft Picks Football offers an early — and colorful — look at the incoming crop of NFL prospects headed to the draft. The college-themed release centers on a few things familiar to the Elite line.
The first is autographs. Each hobby box has five of them.
Collectors will also find plenty of color in the product, ideal for creating rainbows.
Base Set and Draft Picks
As with other collegiate sets from the manufacturer, 2018 Panini Elite Draft Picks Football does have veterans and retired players. The best set has known pros pictured from their college days in school uniforms.
They’re joined by players eligible for the 2018 NFL draft, also in the college gear. 2018 Panini Elite Draft Picks Football is the first collegiate set of the season.
Parallels are centered around a couple of Elite staples: Aspirations and Status Die-Cuts. Both versions come in a half-dozen colors and come numbered to 99 or less. Hobby boxes have a pair of base parallels and two from draft picks.
With five autographs in 2018 Panini Elite Draft Picks Football hobby box, it averages out to one signature per pack.
Draft Picks Autographs are where most of these stem from. These use the same general design as their regular cards. Parallels for these have no more than 99 copies each.
Veteran and retired stars are also among the product’s signatures. Passing the Torch Autographs are a double-sided tradition in Elite. These come with signatures from a pair of players. Charles Woodson and Earl Campbell are among them. Passing the Torch Autographs are exclusive to hobby packs.
College Ties is another dual-autograph insert. These take signatures from two people who went to the same school.
Other hobby-exclusive autographs include Chain Reaction, Elite Series and Primary Colors.
In addition to signed cards, 2018 Panini Elite Draft Picks Football hobby boxes have five regular inserts and one insert parallel.
