2015-16 Panini National Treasures Basketball ready to bring the rookies, patches, and ink
By Stephen Laroche | Beckett Basketball Editor
2015-16 Panini National Treasures Basketball, like past years, is led by the presence of the ever-popular Rookie Patch Autographs and prime memorabilia content that the brand has become known for in recent years.
Collectors will find 10 cards in each box, eight of which have either autographs, a piece of memorabilia, or both.
There is one base card or parallel in each box of 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Basketball and the base set will almost certainly be made up of a mix of current NBA stars and legends. Traditionally, one of the biggest draws for this release are the Rookie Patch Autographs and once again, they will be limited to either 49 or 99 copies along with Silver (/25), Gold (/10), Emerald (/5), and Logoman (one-of-one).
As expected, 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Basketball is yet again the home of prime memorabilia hits and Panini has added a new concept to the brand’s lineup that has some historical significance. NBA Finals Nameplate is expected to have the biggest names from the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers that faced each other last season and the secondary market action on these unique one-of-one cards should be intense. Patches are prominently featured in a few other memorabilia collections which include Material Treasures, Treasured Tags, and Logoman.
nternational Treasures collection which takes a look at the best veterans, rookies, and legend that came from around the world to star in the NBA.
Additionally, Panini will take advantage of its relationship with USA Basketball once again here and the hobby reaps the benefits with USA Basketball Jersey Autos and the memorabilia pieces were worn during international competition.
