2015-16 Panini Clear Vision Basketball Variations Gallery
2015-16 Panini Clear Vision Basketball variations come in two forms. First up are select rookies who are pictured with two different photos. The same approach is used for the Rookie Revision subset that showcases some of the top players of the past 20 years in the early parts of their careers.
For the most part, the two versions are easy to spot as virtually all of the variations have players in different colored uniforms.
That said, there doesn’t appear at first glance that there’s a clear pattern to differentiate between the two.
All 2015-16 Panini Clear Vision Basketball variations have the same parallel structure as their base counterparts as well. Both base and variation Rookies have Bronze, Blue (/149), Red (/99), Purple (/25), Gold (/10) and Black (1/1) parallels. Rookie Revisions have the same colors minus the Bronze cards.
According to the original promotional materials for the set, Rookie Variations are inserted 1:28 packs of 2015-16 Panini Clear Vision Basketball. That works out to 1:7 boxes.
While we’ve got most of the images ready to go, at this point it’s tough to tell with certainty which versions are the base and which are the variations for many of the cards. This is especially true for the Rookie Revisions. For the rookies, it’s clear which appear to be the short prints and which are the base. For those we’re not so sure about, we’ve only indicated the descriptors so you know what to look for. We’ll be sure to make any updates, if required, should Panini confirm the 2015-16 Panini Clear Vision Basketball variations.
