Seattle Seahawks win first Super Bowl title
By Susan Lulgjuraj | Beckett Football Editor
The 12th man is celebrating tonight.
The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos in dominating fashion in Super Bowl XLVIII. Seattle beat the Broncos 43-8.
This is the Seahawks first Super Bowl title.
Many people will think of quarterback Russell Wilson when it comes to Seattle, but the Lombardi Trophy was brought home by a team effort, including four turnovers Seattle’s outstanding defense.
Kam Chancellor, Malcolm Smith, Richard Sherman … all names that will be repeated again and again in Seattle in the coming weeks. These defenders created moments throughout the playoffs and the Super Bowl that Seahawks fans aren’t going to forget for a long time.
The championship shows that there is always more to football than the skilled position players – the ones who most of the attention, especially on cards. Sherman has just one Rookie Card (from his second year in the league), Chancellor has one Rookie Card from 2012 Topps (he was drafted in 2010) and Smith does not have a single card.
Repeat: The Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith does not have a card in the Beckett database from the NFL or pre-draft products.
However, there are big names on the Seahawks such as Marshawn Lynch, Percy Harvin, Golden Tate and, of course, Russell Wilson that collectors will now spend years searching for their cards.

Now if you guys can just get Panini to sign Russell Wilson’s National Treasures RAP Then life will be better, after I stop crying about the Broncos loss of course:(
