The regular season is finally over. While a lot of teams rested their stars, others were playing for their playoff lives or looking for better playoff positions. Some players just don’t know how to turn it off and not dominate. I’m looking at you, Tom Brady. The quarterback threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns. Trevor Lawrence also led the Jags to victory over the Colts and ruined the postseason dreams of Indianapolis. There were three other players that are worthy of being mentioned on the MVP list. Let’s take a look at them below.
Dak Prescott
The Cowboys had already clinched their division but that didn’t mean they were going to go easy on the Eagles. Dak Prescott threw for 295 yards and five touchdowns in the blowout win over their NFC East rivals. Prescott also set the record for touchdowns in a season for a Cowboys quarterback with 37.
Prescott’s cards have always been highly sought after by collectors. The Boys will have a tough road in the playoffs but if they can make a deep run, collector interest is sure to follow.
Ryan Tannehill
Who could have guessed that the Titans would be the number one seed in the AFC? They lost Derrick Henry for most of the season to injury along with most of their wide receivers for varying stretches. Ryan Tannehill has been good at managing games and leading the Titans to victory.
Tannehill’s card values have fluctuated over the years, dipping down quite a bit before he left Miami. He had a career resurgence in Tennessee and his card values have started to rise again.
Justin Jefferson
One of the hottest receivers in the NFL this season was Justin Jefferson. Even though this game didn’t mean anything to the Vikings, Jefferson still put up 107 yards and a touchdown to cap his stellar season. Minnesota is going through a coaching change, with hopes of taking the next step soon. Jefferson should be at the center of the offense for years to come.
