drpepperForget fantasy football. Forget about baseball cards (for just a minute).

I have to ask … did you get your free bottle of Dr. Pepper on Sunday?

As a joke earlier this year, the company promised a free 20-ounce bottle to anyone if Guns N Roses delivered its long-delayed CD Chinese Democracy. Well, Sunday was when it arrived (only at Best Buy stores) and the company paid up via a link (above) to download a coupon on its Web site.

Based on my first listen of the CD, you’re probably better off getting the free bottle (if you can get on the site — it appears to be pretty busy today) and heading to your closest card shop with the $14.

But that’s just me.
