1993 Topps Stadium Club Football was split into three releases. Series 1 and 2 feature 250-card checklists, while High Series was available only as a 50-card box set. Back in 1993, Stadium Club was considered a super premium set. Imagine comparing these cards to the high end sets coming out today? Luckily, the images are crisp with the “High Definition Photo Technology” that Topps was touting.

This set is fairly simple. There is one parallel, 1st Day Production, that signifies just that. These land once per box. Super Team inserts are also one per box. There is also a Jerry Rice record breaker card that is a bit tough to find, inserted once in every 101 packs.

Crockett just looked too cool here to not show him off.

Deion is clearly preparing to return a kick or a punt here. He did rack up five return TDs while playing for Atlanta.

Pack 18:

Derrick Thomas MC & Jake Reed

Pack 19:

Junior Seau & Anthony Miller

Pack 20:

Emmitt Smith MC & Emmitt Smith Dallas Cowboys Super Team Card (1:24 packs)

Since the Cowboys won the Super Bowl in 1994 (1993 season playoffs), this Super Team card could have been redeemed for a 500-card Stadium Club set featuring gold foil Super Bowl logos. Unfortunately, the redemption expired on June 1, 1994.

Pack 21:

Mo Lewis & Willie Roaf DP

Pack 22:

Randall Cunningham MC & Marcus Allen

Pack 23:

Sean Gilbert

Sean must be celebrating one of his 42 1/2 career sacks.

Pack 24:

Steve Young MC & Irving Fryar

Lastly, the Marcus Allen card back. I have said it before, and I am sure I’ll say it again — I dig the Rookie Card images on the backs.

This could have been a really nice box back in 1993. Sure, a LeRoy Butler 1st Day isn’t a name to be super excited about but the Cowboys Super Team card would have been a winner. At the time, the estimated value of the redemption set was $100.
