Beckett Marketplace Launches Improved Search, Best Offer Options
We’re making things a little easier for you at the Beckett Marketplace. We recently made two improvements, one to help you find what you’re looking for faster, another to, potentially help you get a better price on cards you’re interested in.
Improved Search
This new search allows you to search multiple years at once, exclude words, easily search for cards with specific print runs and much more.
Here are some examples of how you can now search the Beckett Marketplace:
(2005, 2006) topps chrome jeter
This allows you to search for cards from both 2005 and 2006 at the same time. Simply put a pair of search terms in brackets and separate them with a comma.
2005 topps chrome jeter -refractors
By putting a dash before a term, your search results will leave out that word. In this instance, we searched for 2005 Topps Chrome Jeter cardswith “refractors” filtered out.
This search will bring up all Derek Jeter cards serial numbered to 50 or with a confirmed print run of 50. All you need to do is put a “/” before a number.
By using the term “jsy,” you will bring up all of the cards tagged as having a jersey swatch attribute in our master database.
This one is similar to the jersey search, only this time with autographs. This will work even when the words auto, autograph or signature aren’t in the name of the insert.
Of course, you can adjust these settings to what you’re looking for, not just Derek Jeter.
Best Offer
The Beckett Marketplace has also launched a Best Offer option. So if you see a price in a participating dealer’s shop that you want to deal, you can.

Best Offer is interesting. I have called a couple of these shops in the past to try and make a deal but without success. Hopefully they will actually buy into this program rather than use it to promote their business.
