2019 Panini Black Football Sees Brand Return as an Online-Exclusive

2019 Panini Black Football brings a past brand back, this time as an online exclusive. The last time Black made an appearance (excluding Black Gold and Black Friday) was 2013. As it was before, autographs and memorabilia cards are both focal points. In fact, the majority of each box falls under the “hits” category with a Rookie Patch Autograph, another autograph and a memorabilia card.

2019 Panini Black Football Overview

Every card in the product comes serial numbered with a print run of 75 or less.

This includes the base set, which has 120 total cards. The checklist breaks down further to 50 veterans, 30 rookies and 40 Rookie Patch Autographs, which have white signatures to contrast again the dark background. Base versions for all three levels have 75 copies.

Parallels, which combine to land one per box, include Silver (/35), Copper (/25), Gold (/10) and Platinum (1/1).

Select base cards also have autograph versions that top out at 50 copies. Further parallels for these include Copper (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less) and Platinum (1/1).

2019 Panini Black has some other autograph inserts as well. Midnight Signatures are all one-of-ones. Shining Signatures are quite as scarce, but they do include ink from both veteran and retired players.

On the memorabilia side, there’s Dual Memorabilia and Futuristic, both of which have base versions with 75 copies and under.

Parallels for these include Silver (/35 or less), Copper (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less) and Platinum (1/1).
