Unannounced 2017-18 Upper Deck MVP Postseason Inserts Found
By Stephen Laroche | Beckett Hockey Editor
As some collectors and dealers may have expected, the release of 2017-18 Upper Deck MVP Hockey has seen an unannounced insert set surface.
The simply titled 2017-18 Upper Deck MVP Postseason cards appear to have a focus on members of the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins and the runner-up Nashville Predators.
While Upper Deck is unlikely to release the odds of pulling one of these cards and typically does not provide a checklist until a product like 2017-18 Upper Deck MVP Hockey has been out for a few weeks. It is unclear if they are a case hit or appear on a more frequent basis. With several cards confirmed thus far, it should be noted that photography for this set was taken during the Stanley Cup Final, which the Penguins won in six games.
Collectors are encouraged to share their pulls in the comments section below to help build a checklist.
Completed sales thus far on eBay include cards of Matt Murray, Jake Guentzel, and Evgeni Malkin that sold for $29.99. A copy of the Phil Kessel card went for a bit less at $19.99.
Granted, these are early sales and prices on the cards may fluctuate depending on how many surface in the coming days and weeks or if bidding wars take place.

Not announcing something people are expecting doesn’t affect the product much; does it?
PS2 is P.K. Subban Nashville
Now Who is PS10 from Nashville?
