This Week in MLB Bobblehead Giveaways and Other Important Promotions

Nine — that’s the number of bobbleheads being handed out at MLB ballparks this week. Plush dolls, replica trophies and even a window cling featuring a mascot-ized President are among the other giveaways slated for over the next seven days.
Boston and Texas are kicking things off on Tuesday. The Red Sox have a Mookie Betts bobblehead for the first 15,000 fans. Those heading to see the Rangers take on the Houston Astros can get a bobblehead of skipper Jeff Banister commemorating his 2015 AL Manager of the Year Award.
Saturday’s a big day for giveaways with six bobbleheads scheduled. Babe Ruth (Yankees), “Super” Joey Votto (Cincinnati) and Matt Duffy (San Francisco) are among the highlights. The Atlanta Braves are handing out a commemorative dual figure of broadcasters Skip Caray and Pete van Wieren featuring some of their most memorable calls.

The weekend has a couple of other notable promotions as well. The Kansas City Royals are celebrating their World Series with replica trophies for the first 20,000 through the gates. The White Sox are handing out Jose Abreu Bleacher Creatures.
On Sunday, the Blue Jays have Josh Donaldson bobbleheads while kids in Detroit get a set of Tigers baseball cards.
