NFL Hall of Famer Mike Singletary to Deliver Keynote Address at 2020 Industry Summit
The Industry Summit announced today that the virtual event will kick off with a keynote address by Chicago Bears Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary, on Monday, October 19. The address is sponsored by GTS Distribution, a leading full-service wholesale sports and entertainment collectibles distributor dedicated to their customer’s business success and future.
“Da Captain of Da Bears” for ten seasons, Singletary is best known for intensity and leadership throughout his storied career, that included the 1985 Super Bowl Championship. He was named All-Pro 1st team 8 times and was a 10-time Pro Bowler. Additional career highlights include twice being named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year, being honored as the NFL Man of the Year in 1990 and the Bart Starr Award recipient in 1991, presented annually to the player who “best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home, on the field, and in the community.” He is a member of the 1980s NFL All-Decade Team and the Texas Sports Hall of Fame among many other honors.
Following his retirement from the NFL, Mr. Singletary served as a long-time NFL coach, including two seasons as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. He is currently a businessman, entrepreneur, and a highly acclaimed motivational speaker.
