2022 Bowman Chrome Road to UEFA U21 Euros Brings Brand to Soccer
Bowman Chrome is making the jump to the soccer pitch. The brand makes it debut for the sport with 2022 Bowman Chrome Road to UEFA U21 Euros and it’s bringing a lot of familiar elements including Refractors, autographs and the “Bowman 1st” designation.
Hobby boxes are where to look for autographs as there’s one in each. Topps also has hobby LITE boxes that don’t promise any signatures but they do have exclusive parallels and a lower price point.
2022 Bowman Chrome Road to UEFA U21 Euros Checklist Details
Like virtually every set under the Bowman banner, the focus is on youth and the game’s prospects. The base set has 150 under-21 players from across Europe.
Refractors make for a sizeable parallel rainbow. These include:

Under-21 Chrome Prospect Autographs add the main signature content to the checklist. Not only do these carry a similar design as the base set, but there are some of the same parallels as well:

Hobby LITE boxes have Black and White RayWave Refractors as well. These are tough and represent the only signatures available in that configuration.
Multi-signature themes include Dual Bowman Prospect Autographs, which also have one-of-one Superfractor parallels, and a Bowman Ultimate Book Card that folds out to include 24 total signatures.
2022 Bowman Chrome Road to UEFA U21 Euros has four additional insert sets, all of which should appear at least once in a hobby box.
1989 Bowman (1:8 hobby packs) is based off of the 1989 Bowman Baseball design, the first modern set to include the brand. Adjustments have been made to the icon on the front and these are traditionally sized, unlike the baseball set’s slightly larger dimensions. Of course, these are done in chromium as well.
Other inserts include Carry the Flag (1:8 hobby packs), Home Strip Hopefuls (1:6 hobby packs) and XInevitables (1:12 hobby packs).
All four of these also have Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). Select cards for all but Carry the Flag have numbered autographs as well, which have additional Superfractors (1/1).
