2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball Cuts to the Chase
2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball goes straight for the fancy stuff. Boxes might not have a lot of cards, but it’s broken up in a way that allows for something of a pack-opening experience with two in each box. Inside each pack are three distinct styles of cards: an autograph, a memorabilia card and an uncirculated base card. At the box level, that’s two of each type.
2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Base Set
Base cards get something of an elevated status. Like last year, they’re included already in holders in an uncirculated format.
The 100-card checklist has both rookies and veterans. One of each is in every box.
Among the parallels are new Gold versions (/10).
Autographs, Memorabilia Cards and Other Inserts
According to Panini, 2018-19 Panini Absolute Memorabilia Basketball has more on-card autographs versus 2017-18. Hoopla Signatures is one place to find them.
There’s also 10th Anniversary Autographs, which mark a decade since the card maker entered the basketball card market.
Draft Day Ink returns with rookie signatures.
Tools of the Trade Signatures may not be hard-signed, but they do come with multiple memorabilia swatches. These have either three, four or six pieces. On top of that, relics are a mix of several items, such as jerseys, basketballs hats and a variety of patches.
Glass inserts return. The 25-card checklist highlights top players and rookies.
