Preview gallery: 2009 Donruss Elite Extra Edition
Panini America has released additional images for its forthcoming foray into baseball cards in 2009 Donruss Elite Extra Edition, which will arrive in early 2010.
A preliminary checklist has not yet been released, however additional details have been announced as the set will include on-card autographs for nearly 20 top players in the set.

The Collegiate Patches set will consists of 50 cards, while the School Colors set will include 20. The Back to the Future Signatures insert set will include 40 cards, while the Throwback Threads Prime set will include 25 players.
Each 20-pack hobby box (suggested retail price of $100) will include four autographed cards as well as eight inserts.

I find it curious how many college licensed products we’ve been seeing lately. I guess the manufacturers want one last go-round before Upper Deck’s CLC-exclusive license kicks-in?
