Kelly Hrudey: Second Life
If you’ve been around the hobby long enough, you remember Kelly Hrudey as one of the game’s most clutch performers. In 1987, the Edmonton native set an NHL playoff record with 73 saves to lead the New York Islanders to a Game 7 win over the Washington Capitals. The four-OT thriller came to be known as “The Easter Epic” and is regarded as one of the greatest goaltending performances ever.
