2016 Topps Stadium Club Premier League Soccer Checklist and Details
2016 Topps Stadium Club Premier League Soccer marks the first time the sport has been portrayed in the photography-centric brand in more than 20 years. The set aims to capture the action and emotion from the pitch of one of soccer’s top league’s.
Although the base set is the main focus, autographs and other inserts are also included in the product. Each hobby box comes with a pair of signed cards.
Base Set
The base set, which clocks in at 100 cards, is the meat of 2016 Topps Stadium Club Premier League. Fronts are dominated by the photo thanks to a full-bleed design and minimal additional text. Like 2016 Stadium Club Baseball, the name is somewhat large but the outlined nature of the last name minimizes its impact. And, yes, it does sort of resemble 1997 Fleer Baseball as well.
2016 Topps Stadium Club Premier League hobby boxes have seven parallels. These should be familiar to those who busted its baseball counterpart. Parallels include Gold Foil and Members Only.
Select cards have variation versions as well.
Autographs
2016 Topps Stadium Club Premier League autographs are a mix of 22 current and retired players. The bulk of them come in the form of Base Autographs. These carry the same general design as the main set and have sticker signatures added. Base Autographs also have numbered parallels similar to the base set.
Co-Signers has been around the Stadium Club brand for a long time. These come with a pair of signatures from players on the same club. Eden Hazard and Branislav Ivanovic is one of the seven combinations featured in the set.
Dignitary Autographs feature big names from the past and present. A total of 12 players are included on the Dignitary Autographs checklist including Harry Kane, Frank Lampard and Diego Costa. Every 16-box case should have one of these cards.
Inserts
Those looking for bolder designs will find them in Stadium Club’s inserts. Contact Sheet sticks with the photography theme, using several images of the same player. Golazo captures players and their celebrations after scoring a goal. Finally, there’s Team Marks, that showcases a club’s logo alongside one of their star players.

Topps did a Stadium Club set for the English Premier League before, in 1992. I have a set, 200 cards.
