I remember back in the day picking up boxes of 1990 Fleer on clearance at Kmart for $5  lol

Good old days when retail actually carried sealed hobby boxes. I feel like I also found some Fleer Football  but don't remember the year but I would guess either 1990 or 1991

The only luck I’ve had with finding cards I really wanted at retail was with ‘89 Upper Deck at Wal-Mart (in ‘89) for $1 a pack. I was 12 and didn’t have much money. I remember buying 8 packs. At the time, they were $2 a pack with the dealers.

5 or 6 years ago I threw away every card worth less than $1 from years 1977 thru 1992. I am surprised to read all these love notes for cards from those years!

It was 2 boxes 12" x 12" by 8".
