What is your favorite cheap wax box?
What is everyone’s favorite wax box to open under $50?
Mine would have to be ‘89 Fleer. I like that it has a Griffey RC and the chance of pulling different Ripken variations.

Agreed, would also like to open a box of the first set I ever collected - 1988 Topps.

For me it would be 1987 Topps, as that was the first set I wanted and got for Christmas that year along with the traded set. 89 upper deck comes second as that started me full circle into heavy collecting.

Yea. It is. The Bo Jackson was one of the first singles I bought. I always liked the wood borders. Great photography in that set too.

I've been buying 1991 & 1992 Donruss and Upper Deck boxes to try and pull Heroes and Elite inserts. It's a tall task!
All-time favorite insert card designs:
- 1991 Donruss Elite
- 1995 Studio Platinum
- 1994 Flair Hot Glove
- 1993 Ultra Award Winners
- 2001 Bowman Heritage Chrome
- 1994 Fleer All-Stars

I remember back in the day picking up boxes of 1990 Fleer on clearance at Kmart for $5 lol
Good old days when retail actually carried sealed hobby boxes. I feel like I also found some Fleer Football but don't remember the year but I would guess either 1990 or 1991
