RE: The Latest in Hobby Shenanigans - Shipping Without Toploaders!
Mixed bag with three envelopes this week ... all "free shipping"
1) Two cards, no sleeves or loaders, wrapped and taped so tight in a ziplock bag that I could barely get them out - F
2) One card, no sleeve but in toploader, no tape or team bag - C
3) Two cards, individual sleeves, toploader thick enough for both cards, masking tape over top - A
It's not hard, but some choose to make it so.

Pretty solid today ...
- One Rickey Henderson/Ron LeFlore 1980 SB leaders - shipped in penny sleeve, top, loader, masking tape - A+
- 5 2022-23 Elite basketball cards for my "updated players" PC - each in its own penny sleeve, three cards in one card saver, two cards in another, tape and team bags - A
Good start to the week, I have six more coming!

Gotta love the half a roll of packaging tape that people use to seal the card inside a piece of paper.

A+ on the last couple of packages - sleeves, top loaders and masking tape!

It takes a special breed to ship like some of these examples! Penny sleeve, Top loader, Team bags are more than enough to keep it simple and run a really clean set up! Card board is a bonus.

The interesting part is that the majority of these cards cost less than the price of shipping, so they're already operating at a loss.
Point being, I understand why they cut corners, so it's especially nice when they don't.

Here's a good, solid shenanigan from today's mail ... waited about 10 days for this, here's how it looked when I pulled it out of the envelope ...
One lonely piece of masking tape would have done the trick!
The card was fine so I will give good feedback, but I am also going to message the seller about the wonders of masking tape.

Yeah, I was really irritated. Luckily the card was fine.
