Well, ever since Gibson has signed with the Rams just yesterday there is massive rumour online that Devaney will be naming him the starter over Burton. Everyone seems to be saying that Burton is "struggling" way to much. Now then, Gibson is described as a "bigger" Keenan Burton. So why would you throw in a guy who just started in the NFL has hardly played (and that was just in preseason) and has yet to prove himself in the NFL, OVER Keenan Burton a guy who has worked his butt off since starting with the Rams being drafted last year.

I hate when people speculate like this, all of a sudden Gibson is the savior in St. Louis? Lets jump back to reality... I know I'm over speculating this and they are just rumours but seriously? Burton has improved with every game! Averaging 5 catches a game now... give the guy a chance to suceed before replacing him! Sheesh!

I know how you feel about your player not getting sufficient opportunity to prove his worth. I've been to numerous blogging websites trying to argue Kolb's case and 90% of the time people referred to how poorly he did against the Ravens and how he'll be nothing more than a backup or how he'll be serving fries at Mcdonald in the next couple of years.

Of course I didn't have enough to prove his worth and back him up b/c of his limited playing time (with the exception of this great college career). This was all before he played those 2 games when Mcrib was hurt. Now a lot of the naysayers are taking back what they said. In due time we'll find out how good Burton is. He'll get his opportunity soon just like Kolb did and hopefully he'll restore the confidence in his coaches.

Lol that's what Ive been doing! but fortunetly for me this time people are actually backing me up in some of them, I guess there's always going to be some people agreeing and some not. More sensitive in Kolb's position in Philly because its the QB position and those Philly fans are big on their QB Wink

Thats a load of crap that Kolb will never be a good QB in the NFL, I hope to see him starting as a franchise QB one day... maybe not with the Eagles but most likely with them... I'd really like to see him as a Ram lol.

I'm hoping Burton atleast gets until the end of this season to prove what he can do, he's only played in 6 games this season and not even playing the full time. Now that he's getting good playing time is the time they should begin evaluating his performance.
