jack pfiester Wrote:That's amazing you pulled an Elite insert out of one box, and Canseco nonetheless. One of the cards I really want!Yea, I didn't care too much for it (I collect Rangers and vintage). I sold it within a week or 2. I think it was about a $40 card when I sold it. Not sure what it's worth now. Edit: Just checked, and it seems they're in the $60 range.

Edit: Just checked, and it seems they're in the $60 range. As they should. I've opened close to 300 boxes of 1991 and 1992 Donruss over the past 3-4 years and only pulled two Elite inserts, Andre Dawson and Cecil Fielder. I noticed the 1993 Elite Dominators had several green arrows. All of these cards are extremely undervalued!

Does anybody know if Elite inserts are in rack packs? I found a guy selling a bunch locally and wanted to confirm that there is at least a remote possibility that they're not just in wax packs!

Kind of crazy that I was just getting into cards back then and somehow pulled the Rickey Henderson Legends card (from the 1992 product).
There's no way I busted more than 2 or 3 packs in order to get it back then. My parents weren't going to spend much money on packs since I was just getting started. I didn't even know what I had for a long time and because of that I wasn't aware of how to properly protect cards. It ended up with a dinged corner because, for a while, I kept my "good" cards in an actual shoebox. I still have it, though. One of my prized possessions. =)
