Dear Panini...

RE: Dear Panini...
Having people travel to the games, take digital pictures, edit them and decide which ones to use = staffing + travel = $$. The biggest expense of companies is the staffing salary. Cutting costs is easiest if you cut staff. Cut staff and travel $$ = no one at the game to take pictures.. They go to spring training and special games and take pictures then reuse them over and over.

Funny, sometimes you see a guy on TV and think..he looks different..pull his card and realize the picture of him is 2 years old..

Yeah but Topps is in NYC, they have an Al and NL team right there, even if all the pics are from Yankee Stadium and Citi Field you could get 85% of your photos there.

Is this thing on?

If a cereal company claims it has eight different flavors of cereal, should they put the same flavor of cereal in every box?

Same thing here ... if you're going to present Stadium Club as a separate product from Bowman or whatever, then make it a separate product by offering unique photos to each one.

The only way photo variations will happen for each product and each year is if Topps' bottom line decreases and they feel like they have to change it to increase profits.

We all see problems but we keep on buying. Why would Topps spend more to make it better if it sells as is?
