RE: Trading Rules
As a Canadian, I can assure you there are a number of ways for you to ship to us cheaper than it is for us to ship to you. That said, I generally only do trades that are worth the shipping cost...
Trading for cut autos of baseball HOFers I don't have, autos of current and future Cleveland Guardians, and anything else that catches my eye!

RE: Trading Rules
First, as long as the cards are in good shape and arrive timely, I do not make anything out of the shipping irregularities
However,
I follow these methods
1 card/penny sleeve
Top loaders, large size multiple/top loader
If the card is already in top loader, it stays..I do not touch the card again
All cards in team bag and that is what is taped to "squeeze" the top loader shut. I do not tape top loaders with any type of tape.
Then an INVOICE wrapped around the cards...Then bubble envelope. I recycle them and have 100s of different sizes (make sure the bubble are not collapsed though)
Some larger trade with common cards go into a plastic case and secured..
Canada...
Paypal shipping is only good if it is through eBay/Paypal..otherwise there is no international option...
Sometimes I have the person send $1 to paypal and then I can ship to Canada for $3-4.
Anyone else have that problem??
