Reslabbing

Reslabbing
In order to get old serial # cards into my registry will Beckett reslab them with a new serial # for me? I don't want them to change the grade or subgrades. I just would like a serial # that is newer outside of the old BVG screw up.

Thoughts on how much it would cost?

RE: Reslabbing
My understanding is that reslabs are $5 unless it's an immediate screw up by BGS on an order you just got back.

You can only keep the subgrades, IF you were the one that originally submitted the card.

RE: Reslabbing
So does that mean they would crack the case then actually go thru the process of regrading the card?

No. I think that they'd slab it with a new label and new # and unless you're the original submitter, you'd lose the subgrades.

RE: Reslabbing
So for instance if sent in a card with 4 subgrades of 9.5 they might change it to three 9.5's and a 9?

Or do you mean the card would just have a final grade and have no subgrades?

Sorry for all the questions

You're correct with your 2nd comment. The card would come back with no subgrades.
